About Our Compadre Dave Hanley
|
|
Grew up in: Sonora, CA
Currently resides in: Modesto, CA
What he plays/does: plays an awesome pickin', strummin' guitar he does, and sings a real nice song too, 52-week club member
Some time ago: co-fronted the legendary Puffin' Billies
Influences: late-night campfires
Style: Bluegrass
Sounds like: Hartford meets Prine on a friendly porch where the town's people drop by all evening and
never pay a dime for some of the finer times they'll ever have, and the crickets even stop to listen
Dave Hanley has played some fine music and we're honored that he let us distribute his debut solo album.
He is currently performing all over as himself and also with a group he put together called Panhandle.
And he's so organised that he even has his own web site, so I'll just let him do all the talking: davehanleymusic.com
