The Cow Track Lounge is in Oakdale, California, serving as a locals bar, and regular music venue, where every Wednesday night all the local musicians playing folk, americana, blues, californica, what-have-you, show up in force and perform for the patrons. Thanks to the efforts of Josh Plante and The Full Boat Eddie T. the Lounge has become a secret mecca of local talent. The stage is not grand, the sound is not professional, but the music is superb. Regulars include, The Plante Brothers, Willy Tea, Sean Duncan, Eddie T, The Gambler's Prayer, Chris Doud, Fred Salazar, Tom VandenAvend (when he's in town), various ex- members of the legendary Puffin' Billies, Bluesmen Matt and Cole, local legend Cyclone, and whoever else happens to rear their ugly mug, be dragged in by the cat, or speak of the devil show up outta the blue.
